Chapter 2.5

Chapter 2.5 Unexpected

It was time for dinner, Chelsea had just made an autumn salad, which is my favorite food! I was going upstairs to retrieve Bramble from her sacred desk and walked into her room to find no one in there. I Looked all around. In the adjacent bathroom, under her bed, soon everyone was looking. She was no where on the lot. I called her, she didn't answer. Chels called her, she didn't answer. Mom and dad called her, she didn't answer. We called her friends asking if they had seen her, none of them had. We were so scared that we almost forgot about dinner!
The next day, I walked out to get the mail and found a letter addressed to "The Melody's" I looked at the return address and There was no name, only "14 pinochle point, Sunset Valley" I could't imagine who could be sending us anything from sunset valley, so I took it inside to open it. I tore the envelope open and pulled out a card, it read

Dear Mom, Dad, Bella, and Chelsea,
I would like to notify you of my engagement to my beloved boyfriend, Kevin Kling. I left yesterday after lunch to take a plane ride here to sunset valley to be with him. We met on match.sims and have been in love with each other since we read each other's profiles. I came here and met him, and he proposed! I am sorry to have not told you about my leaving, but I knew you would never approve of me going to meet someone who I met online, and I am a young adult now. We decided our Wedding will be back home in Twinbrook next Saturday. It will just be close friends and family. I would love to  see you there as that same night we are flying to a secret location for our honeymoon. I will from then on reside in Sunset Valley with my new husband. I do hope that you understand my reasoning and come to my wedding. The only reason that we have scheduled the wedding so early is so that my wedding dress that I just bought will not be too small for me, because I am Pregnant! Our baby is due in 8 months. I hope to see you soon.
                                                                     Love,
                                                                               Bramble
Needless to say, we were all in awe. Mom was a mix of unbelievably happy for her daughter to be married and have a grand-baby and mad at Bramble for deserting us for someone who she hadn't seen until yesterday. We all had similar feelings, but she was my sister so I knew we had to be at her wedding.

That next Saturday we went to the wedding venue to see my twin get married. We all met Kevin, who was a handsome man and very kind. He was also a book worm which suited Bramble well. They looked very happy together, kissing under their wedding arch as the sun went down.

And later that week, Mom and dad both aged into good-looking Elders. Dad retired from his job, which just made the paparazzi go absolutely crazy around our house, and mom got promoted to Hit Composer which didn't help either.

But even this didn't diminish their love for each other. They would always be kissing and hugging all over each other.

I talked to mom one day after she came home from work. "Mom, I think that this house Is too modern for my taste. I would love to make it a little smaller too. I know we have the money to re-do the house and build a whole new one, so why shouldn't we?" Mom nodded her head in agreement and we started calling up all the best architecture and design agencies around to get quotes on the Meditteranean home I dreamed of.
